3D Mode Animation Views

All the 3D Mode Animation Views display the present mode shapes except from the animation view in the Time Domain ODS editor. This animation view replays the measured time series of the test setup.

In the 3D Mode Animation View all the general options described in 3D Display Options are available. Beside these options the following options are also available in the 3D Mode Animation View:

Start Animation

You can start an animation by clicking on the Start Animation button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view.

Stop Animation

You can stop a running animation by clicking on the Stop Animation button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view.

Step Forward

When the animation is stopped it is possible to make one step forward by clicking on the Step Forward button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view.

Step Backward

When the animation is stopped it is possible to make one step backward by clicking on the Step Backward button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view.

Decrease Animation Speed

When an animation is running it is possible to decrease the animation speed by clicking on the Decrease Animation Speed button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view.

Increase Animation Speed

When an animation is running it is possible to increase the animation speed by clicking on the Increase Animation Speed button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view.

Maximum Animation Speed

When an animation is running is not at maximum speed it is possible to increase the animation speed to the maximum speed by clicking on the Maximum Animation Speed button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view.

Decrease Amplitude

You can decrease the amplitude of the deformed geometry by clicking on the Decrease Amplitude button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view.

Increase Amplitude

You can increase the amplitude of the deformed geometry by clicking on the Increase Amplitude button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view.

Undeformed Geometry

You can show / hide the undeformed geometry by clicking on the Toggle Undeformed Geometry button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view.

AVI Movie file

It is possible to record an AVI Movie file in all the animation views but only when an animation is running. This is done by clicking on the AVI Movie file button in the Toolbar of the current 3D animation view, pressing <Alt + Enter> or choosing the Project, Mode Organizer, Export Modes, AVI Movie File... menu item. In the AVI Movie Recording dialog the recording options and the destination to save the animation can be set. Furthermore the recording can be started pressing the Record button in the dialog.
