Installing License Files for ARTeMIS Software
Products
Please read this
description if you have a license files that you need to install and use to activate
youur ARTeMIS product.
License File for Node-Locked
License Model
If you have purchased single-user license
of one of the ARTeMIS software products then license will be locked
to the computer that you install it on. If you have made on offline activation you
will receive an email immediately when we have activated the license for you.
This email will have a
license file
attached.
The
file extension
is .lic and the
contents of it
looks as the
example below:

Please do not make changes to the content of the file but simply save it on your
hard disk.
Installing the License File
Start your ARTeMIS product to which the license file belong, either
by double
clicking the
icon on the
desktop or from
the Start,
All Programs,
Structural
Vibration
Solutions
folder.
The first time
the software
starts you will
see the
following dialog
appear:
If the software already has been activated this dialog can be started from the
Help, Actovate Product menu menu item.
Now set the drop down list in the bottom to Browse for an Existing License
File and press the OK button.
An Open File Dialog appear allowing you to browse for the
license file you previously saved. Once you have found it simply press the Open
button and answer yes to copying the file.
Once this is complete you may have to restart the ARTeMIS
software to activate the license.
